She now calls West Tokyo home, where she has been exploring Japan with her family for five years. Multilingual, multicultural and a lifelong Third Culture Kid, she brings belonging, cultural curiosity, finding yourself in a fluid world and a sense of awe for the universal language of nature as a constant in life. These are themes that resonate deeply with internationally mobile students.

Make Our Legends
The creatures we carry — and the world they need to survive
From Japanese folklore to a cross-cultural conversation about values — students discover that across every culture, people have always looked to creatures to carry what matters most. Every child leaves with their own creature, their own wish, and a place in a collective class artwork that belongs to the whole group.
Available as a single session or extended into a two-part programme exploring real-world sustainability action.

What a traffic jam, a delayed train and a dentist waiting room taught us about creativity
Lisa shares the real behind-the-scenes of making Magical Tails — and the science of why our best ideas arrive in our most mundane moments. Every child leaves with a story that came from nowhere special, and a panel in a class zine they'll actually want to take home.

Where Are You From?
Reframing the question every Third Culture Kid dreads — through the lens of Japanese folklore
Through Japanese folklore, Lisa reframes the question every internationally mobile child dreads — and invites students to answer a different one instead. The session closes with a collective belonging map of the whole class: everywhere, and nowhere, and exactly here.
Works especially well as the closing session of a whole-school day.
